[FIXED] src package extracts to current dir

Post by Arty » Mon Apr 22, 2013 6:57 pm

giada-0.6.2.tar.gz unpacks its top level to the current directory - not to ./giada-<version>/ as in older releases.
This is not really a bug... but inconvenient in an automated package build system.

Thanks Arty, it's a very annoying bug. We'll fix it in 0.6.4 for sure.

And please return to former & established file name convention: <packagename>-<packageversion>.tar.gz
Commonly, the underscore '_' count as a part of the package name and a dash '-' is used to denote the version part.
Having a new file name convention on every release is annoying as well ;)
