tap-for-bpm (another idea)
So, what about a tap-for-bpm? Usage-case-scenario would be loading a sample that you might not know the bpm of, and syncing the bpm to it without trial-and-error adjusting the tempo 'til you find which fits?
...as always, feel free to smack me down if I've missed something obvious.

Tap-for-bpm is another great missing feature to add. For your scenario we are also thinking about a "fit-to-sample" function, which derives the actual bpm from the length of the sample.

i could realy use this too! (bpm tap or calculated bpm from 1 bar)
i have a large colection of loops at diferent tempos. and this would really help.

I want to add something to this topic:
It would be nice, if it's also possible to tap the global bpm with the average between taps (also via midi or keyboard)
Many Regards,
Daniel
