Compiling Giada for a PPC based Mac

Post by oscardcuestas » Thu Mar 17, 2016 3:15 pm

Hi!

First of all, excuse my writing errors, I'm from Spain and I don't do that as usually as I would.
A few months ago I was texting Giada developers asking for a version for my laptop (an old PowerBook G4, OsX 10.5) and they answer me that they can't provide this version, but surely there's someone in this forum that helps me compile a version for mine.
I'm into compiling software since I'm a engeneering student, but really I don't know how to do it and where to find the propper libraries.

Can someone help me? Thank you team!

(BTW: I don't know if it's the right topic for a 'general question', but I didn't find any better place...) :?

Hi oscardcuestas, unfortunately we cannot provide such custom versions of Giada, BUT ... you could try to compile it by yourself. It's definitely not that hard, you just have to grab the proper libraries (and the right compiler of course).

This page could be a good start. Let us know how it goes.
