Hi All,
Can anyone tell me if Giada now has detection (or setting) of BPM for individual loops, plus associated timestretching playback routines? I don't see any mention of this in the docs but have found reference to requested functionality from a few years back.
If not currently, are there any plans / timelines to add this functionality?
Thanks
Steve

Re: Auto detection / setting BPM and timestretch?
Hi Steve/coherer,
There's no BPM detection in Giada at the moment. However we have included time stretching playback algorithms in our roadmap. That's an important feature that can't miss from the 1.0 release. There is no specific deadline for it, but the general feeling among us is "as soon as possible"

Re: Auto detection / setting BPM and timestretch?
I'm still looking for a solution over a year later - and I see there's been more discussion on time-stretching \o/
So - I'm posting here to express continued interest in this function. Even if loop BPM values are entered manually (no BPM detection), the ability to alter BPM and combine clips of different BPMs would mean I'd finally have a live performance tool
Sadly my programming skills are lacking otherwise I'd be contributing myself!
