hello giada forum!
I was wondering if there was an option to start the recording of a new sample via an outside source (microphone etc.) at the beginning of the sequencer, and not at the moment you press the record button.
Because that would mean that I could have some beats beforehand without excidentally recording noice and such, and to prepare for the recording by bringing my hands to the instrument for example.
Better explanation:
I press the record button while the sequencer is already running, but the recording only starts when the sequencer begins from new. (see the blinking samples when you start them in the middle of a sequencer run, but this function for recording a new sample)
starting new sample recording at sequencer start

Re: starting new sample recording at sequencer start
Hi Cityrobo, there is no such option at the moment. BUT! we are working on the "Automatic recording on key press/input signal" feature (https://github.com/monocasual/giada/issues/117), scheduled for the next milestone 0.15. I'm pretty sure it would suit your needs.
